1999 was a total restructuring year for the LIVESAY lineup with a new vocalist and
bassist being brought in. After all was said and done, the band entered Millbrook Studio in November
to record their next CD.
Darkest Hour was recorded and mastered in two months. The final product is a 6 song
CD of highly energetic, well written
material including a cover version of Ronnie Montrose's classic "Voyager. Before its release,
the band performed a few shows to
let their audience hear their new material. Opening for legendary rockers, Zebra, Sebastian Bach, TT
Quick, Black Label Society,
Warrant, Mr. Big & RATT, LIVESAY was certain that their new material has been accepted by the response
of the audiences.
The CD is available on our merchandise page as well as local and overseas independent distributors such as Perris Records.
FINALLY!!
The new millenium brought great things LIVESAYs way. In the Spring of 2002, they were contacted
by Now & Then
Productions/Frontier Records, one of the largest labels in Europe. After some negotiation, a deal was
struck and LIVESAY will be
entering Millbrook Studios again to record three new songs which will be added to the original six of
Darkest Hour. The record
will then be remixed and re-released throughout Europe and Japan, with another album to be recorded
soon afterward. In the
meantime, the band is playing shows with Stephen Pearcy, Angel, the Bulletboys, Pretty Boy Floyd and
Vince Neil of Motley
Crue.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN THE FUTURE. . .
LIVESAY has moved into the new millenium undergoing another lineup change, this time on drums. Now that
a record deal has
been secured, their music will be heard by more people than ever before. They will continue to perform
live and hope to secure an
opening slot on a national tour. LIVESAY is not a band to be overlooked. "DARKEST HOUR" is
their testament to the fact that
hard work and perserverance will overcome any adversity. The rock will never stop! |
